A certain motor manufacturer encountered the following technical challenges while producing slip ring motors:
Sealing requirements: Ensure the reliability of welding plate sealing and lead sealing, prevent external pollutants from entering, and ensure long-term stable operation of the motor.
High temperature resistance: The temperature of the motor may reach 150 ℃ during operation, so the sealing material needs to have excellent temperature resistance.
Curing speed: Production efficiency requires the sealant to cure quickly to improve assembly efficiency.

Sealing of welding plates and sealing of leads for slip ring motors
For the needs of this customer, we recommend using BaiGao SIPC 1821 (black, viscosity 25000 CPS) or SIPC 1823 (white, viscosity 35000 CPS) silicone adhesive sealant. These two products have the following advantages:
RTV SIPC 1821 neutral dealcoholized silicone adhesive sealant is a flowable moisture absorbing cured silicone gel that forms a flexible rubber body after curing, fully complying with the EU ROHS directive requirements. During the curing process, alcohol substances are released, which are non corrosive to materials such as polycarbonate (PC) and copper.
