Step 2 Installation Operation
Operating Procedures for ELAPLUS Sensor Fix Gel gel
- Ensure that the existing sensor unit is functioning properly before disassembly
- Remove the sensor and control unit
- Remove the gasket or silica gel, clean the sensor kit with ammonia free glass cleaner, and remove all residual gel
- Place the sensor unit on a horizontal surface
- Remove the syringe cap, replace the mixing nozzle, and install the plunger
- Stably inject the required amount of gel onto the cleaned optical surface (the gel should be slightly higher than the wall of the optical unit). To ensure proper contact with the windshield
- Refer to the chart for room temperature curing time. If necessary, a heating gun or heating box can be used to accelerate the curing time
- Reinstall the sensor kit to remove air bubbles and moisture from the contact points
Test whether the sensor unit is working properly. Any remaining gel can be used for other applications. Simply remove the mixing nozzle and replace it with the syringe cap (the mixing nozzle cannot be reused)
